I have heard this question multiple times, actually I probably couldn't even tell you how many. You would think that it would get annoying and I would get defensive, right? Nope! Why, though?
Let me ask you this. What is the difference between a Mercedes and a Chevy? If you asked that to the Mercedes dealer he would probably laugh in your face, although I would like to laugh in some peoples face and ask them if they are serious, I don't because they are serious. The warmers at walmart are any where from $5-$20 cheaper than Scentsy, right? Okay, is $5-$20 worth the safety of your home, children, and all your precious belongings? Walmart does not give you a lifetime warranty with their warmers. Not to mention they scorch the wax that you are burning, can you imagine what that would do to a child if it spilled on them? I am not saying that if a Scentsy burner was to fall and get on a child that it wouldn't be warm, BUT it would not be hot enough to BURN them.
So let me make it simple for you:
-The scents are $2.50 (I think) they don't last half as long as a Scentsy bar. (Don't take that from me, try it!)
-Their wax will stain their Warmers and Scentsy Warmers.
-They do not offer a warranty on their warmers.
-The variety of warmers will never compare to the selection Scentsy offers.
-They can burn you
-Life Time Warranty YAY!!!!
-The Scents, Warmers, and everything we make is mad of much higher quality.
-The Scent bars are extremely strong and will last you approximately 100 hours for 1 cube.
-You have a variety of products to chose from.
-You can earn free Scentsy and half off items!
-You have direct contact with your Scentsy Consultant and will always have someone there if there is anything ever wrong with your product.
*-*-*-*-Now to those of you that buy the Wal-Mart Warmers and put Scentsy Scents in them*-*-*-*-*-
This is a huge NO NO!!!
Scentsy warmers are made to heat up at the right temperature to release the right amount of scent. If you are putting our Scents in the Walmart warmers it could be too hot and not release the amount of fragrance and will not last as long as it would if it was in a Scentsy Warmer.
So with that being said, yes Wal Marts "Scentsational" warmers are cheaper, but just remember, you get what you pay for!
